Simple Wishes Hands-Free Breastpump Bra Review

simple-wishes-breastpump-braIn this review, we’ll take a look at the Simple Wishes Hands-Free Breastpump Bra, a special bra designed to help you express milk with your hands free to take care of other things.  Simple wishes has created an easy-to-use and comfortable product, but let’s begin by taking a look at its features:

  • 83% cotton, 17% spandex, exclusive of trims.
  • Adjustable in size maintain a tight fit over time with 10″ adjustable velcro back panel
  • Maintain a tight seal: center panel allows 2″ of movement for proper positioning of pump flanges
  • Four way layering support system: secures and maintains a tight seal of breastshields and flanges
  • Designed to work with all major breastpump manufacturers

The pump comes in two sizes that accommodate many sizes in one using an adjustable band. The one I’ve tried, the XS/S/M provides the same comfort as bras from size 30AA to 34J. The custom fit makes them very comfortable and you can buy one knowing that you won’t have to return it the same day! The other size of bra is the L/XL/XXL. Even if your body changes, you will still be able to use it.

It comes with straps that you can use if you want a little more support.

The bra is made from a material that is 83% cotton and 17% spandex, a combination that makes the bra flexible enough to provide a comfortable fit. The seams, usually a problem with some bras, are also very comfortable and don’t produce irritation even after heavy use.  It is a really soft and not itchy.

The pump works with all types of electric breast pumps and you can use it for a single or double pump. It holds the pump breast cushion nicely, so you don’t have to worry about it falling over.  The adjustable panels make a great job keeping the breast shields in place, while at the same time making them very easy to put in and take out.

You can use it sitting on a chair while you review work, or read something; or you can use it standing up, for example, every morning when while you put on make up to go to work. This is one of the few breast pump bras that can actually hold a bottle full of milk!

Although using the breast pump bra is comfortable, it takes a couple of uses to get accustomed to it, mainly because it doesn’t have a cup or support. Still, I don’t consider to be a problem, it’s what you need to be able to pump milk hands-free.

We absolutely love this breast pump bra. If you are a mom who use a single or double electric breast pump bra this is a must-have accessory that will help you pump more comfortably and let you take care of other things while the breast pump works. It can prove to be invaluable for working moms who have little time in their hands – and it comes in a lovely soft pink color!

I just discovered this hands free pumping device after the birth of my second child. I tried easy expressions, the pumping bra by la leche league, and made by moms pumping band with my first child. Don’t waste your time trying them even if you can find them at discounted prices. These products all offer assistance, but are not hands free. It truly is a hands free product. Read more on

I thought a hands-free bra wasn’t worth the expense for the amount of time I would be using it, but I’m so glad I purchased this. The bra halved my pumping time and doubled my output, I think because I found pumping less stressful (being able to use my hands to read, type, etc), and because it was tight across my entire bust which I think made expressing more efficient.
